Reformers Institutional Program
Let me explain what a Federal is. A Federal is an inmate who has been sentence to the Federal incarceration system for their crime, but the Federal system did not have room for them. So, the Federal government rented a space for them in a local facility like a county jail. The Federal inmate is then shipped there for an unknown amount of time. Feds, as they are called, never know when they may be moved, nor where. They are seldom local people. They can come from any part of the country. So, they have no local ties with the surrounding community. You see, at the moment he was telling me that, “Nobody cares about us…” I felt Jesus say, “I died for these also. I love them and care about them.” I found myself asking if he would like me to visit him to which he answered, “Yes.”
Now I am appealing to you. We have a correspondence curriculum available to us through Reformers Unanamous International that is aimed at teaching people how to be Christians. It has been especially effective with those who have addictions in their background. Something like 80-90% of the incarcerated are there because of a crime related in some way to their addiction to drugs or alcohol. Most of these Feds who feel that no one cares about them expressed an interest in this program, but we do not have the funds at $54 each to provide this curriculum to all of them. That is where you come in. If you would like to sponsor an inmate for any amount of money, we will put 100% of your money towards this correspondence curriculum for inmates and see that it gets to them. There is a small fee charged to us by Paypal for providing their service to our web site, but other than that small fee all of your money will go to purchase curriculum. Here is what your money will purchase: a Breaking the Chains Bible; the Overcomer, Challenger, Reformer, Conformer, Transformer addictions curriculum; the Nevertheless I Live textbook, the It’s Personal Daily Journal, the Umbrella Fella textbook, the Today I Lay textbook; and the administration of awards sent directly to each inmate as they complete the various parts of the curriculum. As a sponsor, you should pray for the inmate or inmates success and their walk with Jesus. It is up to you. Ask God what He would have you do. Jesus did die for these also.
