Bert Glaser

Bert is the father of four, married for 37 years and licensed as a Registered Nurse since 1977. His marriage nearly ended after 12 years partly because of his addiction. He was given a great deal of freedom from his addiction 25 years ago because of his relationship with Jesus Christ as his Saviour and, his marriage was also saved from divorce at that time. Even though these good things were happening there was never a complete freedom from the mental part of his addiction until the summer of 2009, when he learned and applied the principles taught at Reformers Unanimous. He learned that the power of God was far more effective in completely freeing him, where he had been frustrated and unable to free himself completely for 49 years. “My enthusiasm for the principles taught by Reformers Unanimous does not come from mere head knowledge accumulated from studying books, but from an experience of success after I had tried so many ‘methods’ that failed me. It is one thing to know the right thing to do. It is another to have the strength to do it. I found that God was willing to give me His power to overcome the things that for 49 years that I was powerless to overcome. The awesome thing is that Jesus stands ready to do the same for anyone who is willing to let Him! Do I believe this? You bet I do, because I know God made me free, and He will do the same for you.”
