How do I enroll?

Answer:There is no preregistration or enrollment. You can join us Fridays at 7p.m. We will have you fill out an information card to help us know how we can best serve you.

How long does the program last?

Answer:At a moderate pace, an individual can easily complete the material in 8-12 months. Most students find they enjoy the group atmosphere and encouragement as well as the practical insights and information offered weekly. Many find it took a long time to be bound by their addiction and that it takes time to gain freedom from it.

What is the class format?

Evening Program Overview – Friday evenings 7-9 pm, the evening is based on the premise of “TALK, TALK, TALK”.

The opening will begin with a short DVD session from the founder Steve Curington (founder of RU) that goes through 10 principles of the Christian life.

The first “Talk” – We get testimonies and praises of what God has done for the attendees to the program. From this it leads into our prayer time or TALK to GOD.
The second “Talk” – We TALK to EACH OTHER. We will split up into groups to go through a work book of scripture memory projects, Bible reading, and accountability with a daily devotional journal.
The third “Talk” – We hear GOD TALK to US through His Word. We will come back together for a closing lesson. Each RU member can purchase a text book and a work book from which the lessons will be taught.

While RU is local church centered, our doors and arms are wide open to anyone from any race, culture, denomination, religion, social status, etc. We do understand that the greatest environment for growth and change is one of acceptance. We will present thorough and biblically based principles along with Scripture as our sole authority for victory over addiction.
